An Evening with Ric Robertson

Ric Robertson is an astoundingly talented singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist visiting us from New Orleans! Ric, a Greensboro native and former member of Beaconwood and The Boston Boys, performs all over the East Coast at festivals and noteworthy venues.

Ric Robertson released his debut album The Fool, The Friend last June. A fresh and authentic blend of swampy blues, rock, and country, the albums's narrative made it clear that he's a force to be reckoned with - if his illustrious musical upbringing hadn't made that apparent already, working with the likes of The Boston Boys, Lucius, The Wood Brothers, and Rhiannon Giddens.

Like New Orleans itself, Ric Robertson's music is a swirling blend of sounds, traditions, and stories that form something completely distinct. Ric Robertson is an artist with the chameleon-like ability to transmute from emotion to emotion, genre to genre, and instrument to instrument.
